Patient sample criteria for the HIV/AIDS Measures Group are patients aged 13 years and older
with a specific diagnosis of HIV/AIDS accompanied by a specific patient encounter:
One of the following diagnosis codes indicating HIV/AIDS: 042, 079.53, V08
Accompanied by
One of the following patient encounter codes: 99201, 99202, 99203, 99204, 99205, 99212, 99213, 99214, 99215

PQRS Group Measures:

#159. CD4 + Cell Count or CD4 + Percentage

#160. Pneumocystis Jiroveci Pneumonia (PCP) Prophylaxis

#161. Adolescent and Adult Patients with HIV/AIDS Who Are Prescribed Potent Antiretroviral Therapy

#162. HIV RNA Control After Six Months of Potent Antiretroviral Therapy

#205. Sexually Transmitted Disease Screening for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea

#206. Screening for High Risk Sexual Behaviors

#207. Screening for Injection Drug Use

#208. Sexually Transmitted Disease Screening for Syphilis

Measure Group Description (from CMS)
